The Killers at Vivint Smart Home Arena

Why see The Killers?

finally back on tour

The outfit behind the biggest earworm of the Noughties ("Mr Brightside" anyone?) is back on the road and you're invited to join the ride! Bursting out of Nevada with their debut album Hot Fuss in 2004, the quartet went on to sell 22 million albums internationally, becoming one of the most recognizable rock bands of the modern era.

Led by enigmatic and endlessly stylish frontman Brandon Flowers, the Killers are no strangers to arena tours, filling stadiums with their high-energy anthemic rock, which was at first influenced by the retina-burning neon and hedonism of their hometown of Las Vegas. Nowadays their genre-bending songs have taken on the heartland rock of the American road (Sam's Town) and electro-pop goodness of dance-rock (Day and Age).

Wonderful Wonderful Show.

Being the first concert I ever attended I was blown away by the whole experience. It couldn't of been better as I shared this experience with close friends and family. The realization of actually witnessing my favorite band on stage didn't quite hit me until they stepped on stage. Even though two of the main members were not of attendance, Brandon and Ronnie displayed incredible energy and gave it their all, as well as the other members that were part of the show. Every fan sang along to the songs with great passion. I cannot wait for when they appear at the ACC again. You can bet I'll be getting my ticket for sure. ... Read more

Absolutely Stellar (a response to "so disappointed"

First of all, have you been to a concert before? I know you said you'd never been to a Killers show, but do you know how a show works in general? First of all, the opening act is usually a chance to showcase LOCAL talent. Lots of big bands do it to give time to smaller (possibly local) acts that wouldn't normally get that kind of exposure. So sorry you didn't like it. The crowd seemed to like it. Anyway, as you'd have heard if you were paying attention, Brandon apologized for coming out a little late as he had the FLU. I'd love to hear you get up there for two hours, hit every single note, play every single single and rock a venue as awful as 1st bank the way The Killers did. I've been to many, many shows. Never thought I'd see a stage show that would come close to NIN at Red Rocks.. I was mistaken. I was a big Killers fan before this show, even more so now. If that was a disappointment to you, don't go see anyone else.. ever. ... Read more

Aces High

Brandon Flowers, Ronnie Vannucci, and company delivered. The Killers although world renowned still remain highly underrated as writers and performers. They reinforced my belief, THIS IS THE GREATEST BAND TO COME FROM THE 2000's. As for the venue, couldn't have asked for better, the open air of ZooAmp coupled with brewing storm around us only added to The Killer Experience . ... Read more
