Def Leppard

Why see Def Leppard?

Back On The Road

Titans of the 80's British Heavy-Metal revival and progenitors of contemporary Pop Metal Def Leppard have never let anything stand in their way, even their drummer Rick Allen losing an arm to a car accident. Overcoming this with a custom kit and a new style of drumming, the band surged on to create the album 'Hysteria', which hit 12 times platinum in US sales and sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

The Sheffield natives are in no danger of slowing down and continue to tour relentlessly, filling stadiums to capacity and rocking as hard as ever. Lead singer Joe Elliot has lost none of his range and his gravel-toned vocals cut through the swathes of guitar riffs and solos that bolster each smash hit of a song. Expect fist-pumping anthems, swagger and an unforgettable night!

Pour Some Sugar and Photograph were my favorites. Vocals were...well not as great as they were 20 yrs ago when I last same em, but damn still rocking it. My 7, 11, and 13 yo all liked it, it was there first concert. I'll never forget my first show and I hope tonight will be the same cool memory for them, with there dad. Excellent evening of music

Went to see these bands in the Colorado Springs last week. It is pretty great. It was a mini Pepsi center type arena. Meaning – it is shaped and functioned exactly like a 20,000 seat basketball/hockey venue… but was maybe 60% the size. The sound was incredible, btw. It was unusually good for an indoor venue. We were high and wide to the left, but everything sounded just perfect all night. The only time the sound suffered was during the headliners, but that was the fault of the band... and (believe it or not) I think it was very willfully completely washed out for them. Started with Tesla. Hadn’t seen them before. It was good, and exactly what I expected. A short set, about 45 minutes. That is common for an opener on an opener. I knew about 4 of the 10 songs. They played my favorite song, Little Suzi… and they phoned it in magnificently. What do I mean by that? Well, they chopped off the beautiful and delicate and perfect acoustic intro. I get it, we are short on time ... Read more
