The company's ever-faithful version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is adapted by Richard and Melany Wilkins with arrangements from Barlow Bradford and fuses the age-old story with lavish costumes and dazzling special effects, with each year topping the last, so avoid being left in the cold and don't miss this veritable highlight of the Yuletide calendar.

What is the story?

Set in the Victorian era, A Christmas Carol follows the misadventures of crotchety old miser Ebenezer Scrooge. On a cold and bleak Christmas eve, the grumpy old man refuses a warm invitation to dinner from his nephew Fred, turns away men seeking charitable donations and only grudgingly allows his overworked, underpaid clerk Bob Cratchit the day off. In short, Scrooge isn't someone you'd want to spend any more time with than you'd have to. When he is visited by four supernatural beings, Scrooge is vividly shown the error of his ways and undergoes a Christmas transformation, learning its never too late to do the right thing.
