Kate DiCamillo's 2009 book was adapted for the stage by the Royal Shakespeare Company member Nancy Harris and Marc Teitler and premiered in 2021 to rave reviews. Wearing the magician's hat of director will be the Hale's own Dave Tinney, with music direction by Alex Marshall and choreography by Lindsey D. Smith.
